Features of ColorNote

ColorNote® provides two conventional note-taking styles: a lined-paper style text feature, and a checklist feature. The text feature allows you to type and store an infinite number of characters. You have the freedom to add reminders, modify, mark as done, or remove notes, or link them with a device's menu button. In the checklist mode, you can include as many items as you wish and organize them by using the drag buttons in the edit mode. A quick tap allows you to check or uncheck lines, triggering a line slash. ColorNote® also includes a color organizer for notes, a sticky note memo widget to display your notes on the home screen, and a calendar to manage your schedules. Moreover, you can establish a password lock to secure your notes, back them up through online backup and sync, and receive reminders on the status bar.

Q: What is the process to place a sticky note widget on the home screen?

A: Long press on an empty space on your home screen, select widget, and then choose ColorNote®.

Q: Why don't the widget, alarm, and notes reminder features function correctly?

A: If the app is installed on the SD card, these features may not work as expected. Transfer the app back to the device and restart the phone.

Q: Where can I find the backed-up notes data on the SD card?

A: '/data/colornote' or '/Android/data/com.socialnmobile.dictapps.notepad.color.note/files' on the SD card.

Q: I cannot remember my master password. How can I modify it?

A: Navigate to Menu → Settings → Master Password → Menu Button → Clear Password. Be aware that you will lose your current locked notes when you clear the password！
